Ivar is the second son of Ullr. At the age of 14 he left the family farm to find adventure and a new life.

In the year year 882 he boarded a ship heading to Danelaw, eventually settling in the east in the wapentakes of Sealhford in Northumbria and became fairly successful harvesting lumber, and crafting wood.
