Sigrun was born to Anglo Saxon slaves in a Norse household. Her parents died when she was young and Sigrun was brought up in the Norse ways.

Sigrun learned all the skills of running a household as she grew up and gradually became an integral part of her lords household.

Sigrun was sold by her lord to Kveldulf Sigurdson, who gave her her freedom she eventually became his wife.

Sigrun now runs Kveldulf’s household while he is away slave trading and sometimes accompanies him on his trips.
